The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting New York Theatre reviews
An evening well-spent
I am more of a 'liker' of ballet, and I enjoyed the show, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes (or loves) ballet. Other ballets I have attended have told a story, but presenting the "Four Seasons" involves portraying the 'feel' of the seasons in dance. I thought that the choreography, costumes, and use of lighting captured the sense of each season very well. On the other hand, the opening piece was done to a Rachmaninoff piano concerto, which I am not crazy about, so it seemed a bit slow. And the accompanying music was wonderful, of course.
It was a very good performance overall, and we are fortunate to have such a talented The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting in our area.
